THE NOVA ORNAMENTAL TURNER unit gives you the opportunity to do the following:
End - cutting
Side - cutting
Wood threading
Light metal turning and wood machining
The Nova OT can add simple or complex patterns and decorations to turned boxes, platters, bowls or almost any woodturning project.
You begin by turning your project in any NOVA Chuck or faceplate. Remove the chuck/faceplate with your work still attached and thread it onto the OT unit. Screw the cutting frame or side cutter accessory onto the lathe headstock spindle and you're ready to start Ornamental turning! Combining side cuts and circular end cuts, the patterns that can be achieved is only limited by your imagination!
