Timber dust is very dangerous, certain timbers can cause cancer of the nasal passages, throat or lungs. The most dangerous dust is usually smaller than 10 microns in size, Microclene air filters will efficiently take out dust down to 0.4 micron.

The complete Microclene range take in dirty air and filter it to return clean air to the workplace.The Microclene range of air filters remove fine floating dust making the workshop a far more pleasant and safer place to be in.

No matter what type of dust, wood, metal, chemical, feather, grain, fabric or paper dust the Microclene filter will remove it. All Microclene filter units are flash and spark protected, the filter pads are made of a fire-resistant polyvee glass. Microclene air filters have won several health & safety product awards and received high praise.

For best efficiency it is recommended that your Microclene unit(s) filters the air at least 10 times each hour of operation. The following chart relates room size (volume) to the Microclene model best suited to your needs. Remember it may be necessary to use more than one unit in a particular workspace.
